Meet Jennifer, Associate of TSC

Jennifer is a highly motivated, committed and passionate individual with a unique combination of independent education sector marketing, student recruitment, development, strategy and board level experience.

Jennifer joined The September Consultancy in March 2025 and has already worked with a number of clients and received excellent feedback and outcomes.  Those that have worked with her describe her as kind, positive, empathetic and realistic. Her optimism and experience ensure vision and she works hard collaboratively to achieve results.

Jennifer attended an all-girls boarding school, Thornton College in Buckingham and went on to achieve a Distinction in her MSc at SOAS, University of London.  She began her career in the charity sector working in international development in southern and eastern Africa.  During this time Jennifer developed donor relations and corporate partnerships regularly securing major funds for vital projects across the world, the most notable being a multi-million donation for post natural disaster education projects.  Today Jennifer’s charity sector experience continues as Chair of YMCA Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire and attends YMCA World Council. 

Jennifer transitioned into the independent education sector following 10 years as a marketing and fundraising lead at Board Level.  Jennifer has experience in bringing operational teams together to ensure efficiencies, consistency of tone, language, and key messaging from first enquiry through to alumnae engagement.  Jennifer’s strength is in identifying and engaging new markets and opportunities as well as ensuring retention is valued including developing engagement programmes for schools’ alumni.  Jennifer has developed international student recruitment campaigns and has a vast network of connections and results proven experience. 

Outside of work, Jennifer is married with three children all of whom have been educated at independent schools in the UK.  Her eldest son Henry has just started studying History at Durham University. Jennifer lives in a small village in Northamptonshire and her hobbies include gardening, baking, reading, walking her dogs across the fields (including a pub lunch/drink!), and she enjoys travel.

Jennifer is a dynamic leader who possesses excellent inter-personal skills.  She is a well liked, positive, diligent and reliable individual dedicated to the promotion of education and development.
